Apparently he took a some money for allowing some pictures of him to be taken by some paps, I don't buy it, surely there has to be more to it than that ???.
I mean this is the Royal family a family of many divorces some very questionable behaviour who take money from the tax payer for free, so why should this man not walk his daughter down the aisle ?, I do not get it maybe someone can explain it to me?.

Dean - I’m sure t would cost a darn sight less in security if there weren’t so many mongs lining the streets to stare at the happy couple. A large portion of that security cost is to protect the public I would expext

Its a minor member of our aristocracy marrying a mixed race american divorcee sleb.
I'm glad Prince Charles will be there, as the boy's step-father its a nice touch.
As her father is unwell (pissed/liability), wouldn't it be more fitting for Ms Markle's ex-husband/owner to give her away as an homage to the slave trade which brought half her family to a better life?

I'd rather pay for this wedding and their lifestyle/expenses all day long. Rather than rehabilitating and housing terrorists, gender reassignment for the mentally insane and about a thousand other things we pay for.

I see many groups complaining about the tax payer footing the bill for the wedding. I'm undecided whether i'm pissed off or not. Can't seem to find any stats about how much we all have to pay. I've read about 5 million for security. Do any of you brainiacs have any stats about how much money a Royal Wedding will generate? I'm sure it's quite a bit, but i doubt that goes back to the tax payer.
